I don't mean to sound flippant, but for this to be a real tragedy, our public transport system in Brisbane would have to be efficient and useful. hm....

Your comment was spoken by someone who obviously rarely uses or has used public transport. It can be a huge pain when there is a strike or widespread display and you have to make alternative arrangements.
